Teton County Parks and Recreation Department has chosen the climbing wall manufacturing company Entre-Prises (“EP”) to build the new climbing gym as part of the Rec Center expansion.

An early rendering of the climbing gym’s interior developed by Entre-Prises last year. The company had previously worked as an independent consultant to Teton County Parks and Recreation on the gym’s development.

The decision will mark the third time the department has worked with the Bend, OR-based climbing wall company. In 2010, EP was selected to build the Teton Boulder Park. Last year, the department retained EP as an independent consultant for the gym’s development.

The climbing gym is part of a Recreation Center Expansion that Teton county voters approved in November 2019 via a SPET initiative. According to a timeline provided by Teton County Parks and Recreation, the new rec center climbing gym is projected to open in January 2024.
