The discussion will explore the choices and challenges of navigating risk in the backcountry.

  • When: Saturday, January 18, 2025
  • Doors Open: 4:30 PM

This discussion is the perfect lead-in to AlpinFilm, where films like To the Hills and Back, 109 Below, and Dropping Molly bring these themes to life on the big screen.

The event is free and open to everyone. For more information, visit the Facebook event page. We hope to see you there!

DISCRETION ADVISED: To the Hills and Back includes frank depictions of avalanche fatalities. Dropping Molly includes footage of a lead-climbing ground fall that results in extensive injuries. 109 Below recounts backcountry rescue events, some of which have tragic outcomes.
