When the Fourth Annual AlpinFilm Festival takes place January 16–17, 2026, at Jackson Hole’s Center for the Arts, one image will stand as the “face” of the event.

Open to mountain-lovers everywhere, the AlpinFilm Photo Contest welcomes submissions that highlight the beauty, challenge, and inspiration of the alpine world. The winning image will be featured on the official 2026 AlpinFilm poster and across festival promotions. The winner will also receive $500, two all-festival passes, and social media exposure through AlpinFilm’s platforms.
“Each year, the AlpinFilm Photo Contest reveals how powerfully a single image can convey the spirit of the mountains,” said TCC Director Christian Beckwith. “The Tetons have inspired generations of alpinists to push their mental, physical and emotional limits—this contest honors that inspiration.”
Submission Details
- Deadline: November 7, 2025
- Prizes: $500 cash award, two all-festival passes, poster feature, and online promotion
- Focus: Landscape, climbing, skiing, and mountaineering photos, in the Tetons or other alpine environments
- Eligibility: Open to all photographers; images must reflect the alpine environment or mountain adventure culture
