Meet Garrick Hart — board member, educator, Exum Meet Garrick Hart — board member, educator, Exum guide, and passionate climber.

Garrick has been instrumental in leading our Climbing Area Modernization Project and Safe Climbing Initiative. When he's not making climbs safer for all of us, he's teaching Physics at Jackson Hole High School and guiding the next generation through the school's mountaineering club.

From Yosemite’s El Capitan to the ice routes of the North Cascades, Garrick has climbed all over the West — often with his wife, twin daughters, and son by his side.

We’re proud to have his expertise, heart, and high-altitude wisdom on our team.

In spite of a cancer diagnosis that would've killed most normal folk, he's still at it, and agreed to let us publish his hand-drawn topos of the crag. Please join us in thanking Tom, and wishing him many more years of new routing on behalf of the community.
