For the third year in a row, the TCC will conduct an Adopt-A-Crag stewardship project at Rodeo Wall. This year’s event, which will be held Thursday, July 28, from 5-8 p.m., will focus on erosion control and building additional steps at the base of the crag.
Local climbers are invited to participate.
A second stewardship project is planned for August 25, when the TCC will work in conjunction with the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to improve a spur to the Happy Hour Wall from the ski area’s new North Ridge trail. This trail will descend the north ridge from the tram and connect to the Cirque Trail below, making a good descent trail for anyone topping out on routes.
Led by Stewardship Director Chris Owen, the TCC’s stewardship efforts are focused on ensuring the safety of the local Jackson Hole climbing areas.
The TCC encourages community members to help out. For more information or to participate, reach out to us at info@tetonclimbers.com.
