In crafting AlpinFilm’s 2024 lineup, festival organizers sifted through more than 300 films from around the globe before selecting ten films that perfectly match the ethos of Jackson Hole.

“Our aim was to create a lineup that resonated deeply with our friends, partners and loved ones,” stated Christian Beckwith, AlpinFilm’s director. “Jackson Hole is America’s quintessential mountaineering community, and the Tetons have inspired climbers and skiers to push physical, mental and spiritual boundaries for more than a century. That identity, and that legacy, informed the selection of all our films.”

Modeled on The Alpinist Film Festival, which ran from 2004-2008, AlpinFilm includes a mix of gripping adventures and profoundly moving stories that distill the essence of the alpine experience into cinematographic excellence.

“More than a showcase of adventurous acts,” said Beckwith, “AlpinFilm explores the reasons we embark on adventures in the first place.”

All proceeds from the event underwrite the work of The Teton Climbers’ Coalition, a 501c3 non-profit organization that stewards, advocates and engages on behalf of the Teton climbing community.
